JEFFREY ROSS
Jeffrey Ross is an entrepreneur with specializations in financial planning, investment management, strategy creation, and problem-solving. He established his primary business interest, The Planner’s Edge, in 1981. This business helps approximately 150 families successfully create and maintain personal “Platforms of Confidence” for approaching their futures with confidence.
Mr. Ross graduated from Claremont Men’s College in 1975 with a BA in accounting and psychology. He also graduated from The University of Michigan Law School with a JD in 1978, and received his credentials as a Certified Financial Planner in 1983.
Jeff operates from a belief system that every human being has a Unique Ability, something that he/she does naturally and easily all the time, something that provides rather than depletes personal energy, and something that (ideally) forms the central focus and activity of a person’s life.
Jeff’s two children, Lindsey and Barry, are adults living in Portland and Vancouver, BC, respectively. When Jeff is not at work one will likely find him on a golf course.
DEANNA NOWADNICK
Deanna has extensive experience in the financial services industry, beginning her career at a regional brokerage where she met Jeff in 1981. Today she serves The Planner’s Edge as Client Service Specialist, managing all the moving pieces of their clients’ financial strategies. Together with Jeff and Ayana, she prides herself on the fact that she’s part of a team that cares more about their client’s financial lives than anyone who doesn’t share their last name. Deanna has received recognition as Sales Assistant of the Year from a national broker-dealer firm.
Deanna and her husband Kurt live in Monroe, Washington. They are the proud parents of adult sons, Kyle and Kevin. Deanna is active in her church, playing the violin and editing the monthly newsletter. She also loves to knit and adores chocolate.
AYANA MEISSNER
Ayana joined The Planner’s Edge in 1999, after beginning her career in finance at a local bank in 1998. Today she is our Money-in-Motion Specialist at The Planner’s Edge where her primary responsibility is to know where all of the money is all the time.
Ayana feels extremely fortunate to be a part of this wonderfully flexible and supportive Team, as she is able to work from her home while simultaneously raising her three children Lucas, Liliana, and Greyson.
Ayana and her husband, “the other Jeff”, can usually be found volunteering in the classroom, coaching soccer and football or watching ballet and golf. Ayana also loves to read.
